Syneos One is a fully integrated, insights-driven, end-to-end product development offering that leverages a single point of contact for our customers through the entire lifecycle. A small biotech customer partnered with Syneos One to bring its life-changing asset to market. Our team navigated Phase II trials with them and we are now on the doorstep of bringing this important drug to market in early 2022.
For an urgent therapeutic product, our team saw an opportunity to use a commercial tool to overcome lagging clinical trial enrollment in Phase II trials. Using Digital Amplifier – a precision digital marketing tool – the team was able to recruit patients through their healthcare professionals, generating an almost immediate increase in trial enrollment. This novel approach was an important factor in accelerating this treatment to market and was organically born from the Syneos Health product development mindset for problem-solving.
Amid the complex environment of a fast-moving global health crisis, there was an immediate need to develop and launch treatments in a very short period. Navigating the COVID-19 landscape required new levels of data integration, expert interpretation and shared insights from across the entire organization. Our team created a Dynamic Control Room delivering a real-time network of insights to understand where the next outbreaks would occur. This Digital Control Room enabled our customers to act faster and bring their assets to market more efficiently.

A large pharmaceutical company was looking to execute clinical studies in a faster timeframe with a reduction of costs. The two established ways of working include an FSO - full-service outsourcing - and FSP - functional service provider - where customers outsource one particular function or several functions. By blending these two models very closely, we set up a new model called Dynamic Service Provision, which exists in the middle of both and allows this customer flexibility to meet their dynamic workload demands. This hybrid solution became a true extension of the customer team and a unique solution in the industry.
A biotech company was looking to build out the full infrastructure of a pharmaceutical company for a transformative product that would change the way physicians would prescribe, and patients would receive this medicine. We initially built and deployed a salesforce in the US before expanding that relationship to Europe and Asia. We harmonized European, Asian, and North American insights and embraced those learnings to impact subsequent launches into the future.
Deployment Solutions
Due of the changing regulatory landscape, our Medical Affairs teams now start as early as Phase I or Phase II and act as the bridge between clinical and commercial. This small biotech company was looking to commercialize its first vaccine in the US market before expanding it around the globe. Our Medical Affairs team helped them tell the best scientific story to make the vaccine successful in the US before turning it over to our market access and commercial and portfolio strategy teams to identify the idea launch plan for each new market.
